Hi, so I'm an ophthalmologist in Southern Oregon. Ophthalmologist is a medical doctor. We go to medical school, then go to medical residency, which you have to match into for ophthalmology. An ophthalmologist is an eye surgeon, and as an eye surgeon, I do mostly cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, some plastics of the eyelids, but yeah, I have to go to medical school. That's how I got my job.
