One of the best experiences you'll have in your life will be to be in Norway on what they call Suttende Mai, the 17th of May, which is their Constitution Day, similar to our 4th of July. Parades everywhere, every big town, every small village. People dress up in their national costumes. It's a very formal day in that regard. Everything is closed, businesses stop for the day, and it's just one day of extreme celebration. Norway is very proud of their country and their heritage, and that is one of the best days you will ever have. So, if you're lucky enough to be going to Norway, make sure you've got a camera that's well charged, because you'll take many pictures.
