Some of the foods that I really enjoyed when I was in in Norway were the pastries and the breads. One, because they were totally fresh. Knætbrød is their wheat bread that is sold in all the stores. It's really good. I'm also a big fan of their skulebrød, their school bread, basically it's translated. It's their pastry that's in the bakeries there, and it's got a custard middle with some white frosting, some coconut flakes on it. It's really good. The last one, it's called brunost, it's brown cheese, basically it's translated, but I got in Norway and I absolutely loved it.

Red currants in a vanilla sauce, they're delicious. Two others, one is called Rieskrem, it's like a rice pudding with a sauce on top, red sauce on it, served as a dessert. There's also what they call Riesengruet, it's like a breakfast cereal and it's served with cinnamon and sugar, just a little slab of butter with some milk, served warm, it's delicious.

If you're ever in Bergen, one of the best things to get is to go to one of the bakeries and get Rumbullet. They are little rolls filled with rum cream. I don't particularly like rum flavoring, but a lot did, and it's definitely an experience that you need to have.
