Norway is an expensive country, but I think the best tip I can give to you is if you have the money and you like something, then buy it. If you don't have the money, don't buy it. I don't think you're doing yourself justice by translating everything over into dollars into your head. You're going to have to get over the fact that certain things are going to be more expensive. There's no point in running through and thinking about how something might cost $5 in the United States, but it's costing $15 there or something like that. If you want it, buy it. Don't do the math in your head. You'll probably just disappoint yourself and just be happy with your purchase that you have.
