The people from Nicaragua are really nice. They're very generous, very loving, and they'll agree with most stuff that you say. And randomly, at times, they would just, out of nowhere, bring food to us or give us stuff. And even though they didn't have a lot to offer, they still wanted to give. So they're very generous people, very loving, very nice.

When they're pointing to people, they usually go like this, you know, they point with their lips. In some smaller towns, you may get something such as a funeral announcement wagon or truck. At least that's how it was when I was down there. So you'd have like a guy that was going around with a bullhorn that was installed on the top of his truck. Smaller towns usually announcing deaths. So there's the death wagon there. So they also did that for vegetables, you know, selling those. But those are a couple of interesting things in the cultural tips there.

I think one of the best tips that I wish I would have known before I went to Nicaragua was to just be patient with, um, time-wise with the people because they are just late. They just, like, don't really pay attention to time. They don't, you know, they'll have hour, they'll have meetings that they say are gonna last 30 minutes and the meeting lasts three hours and you just, you know, or they'll start an hour late and you just gotta go with the flow and chill and forget the strict American, we have to be on time, we have to be on time, we have to be on time and just love them and be patient with them and that will help you avoid so many conflicts with the people. You just gotta love them, be patient with them when they're not on time and when they're not quite as, um, punctual as Americans are.

Just say adios to everyone because that's like saying adios is like hi saying hi to everyone you pass by it's just nice Everyone does it don't feel weird But besides that another culture tip would be for females don't look at the men that do kissy faces or Cat calls just ignore them Just ignore them. It's not important. They're used to being ignored. I feel like especially if you're white with Not black hair and colored eyes. Just ignore them. It will happen I promise at least like I don't know how many times a day

The culture there is very family-based. People will have their whole family live in one house and everybody will know everybody on their street and in their neighborhood. There could be up to 15 to 20 people that live in one single house.

They're essentially, everything revolves around their family. They love their rumors. They love knowing the stories about all the people and all the different things and everything that's going on. And they will never tire of telling you and repeating those stories to you. But yeah, very family based. That's the very central of Nicaragua, their love for their family and for their country.

I would say the most important thing to know about the culture of Los Nicaraguenses is that they are very, very, very loving. And because of that, they are always willing to talk to you and welcome you into their homes. Sometimes that might mean that they tell you they'll do things that they don't, but it's not because of, it's not because they're trying to lie or trick you or, you know, be rude. They just sincerely want to please you and they want to make you happy.
