Montenegro is relatively cheap for the surrounding area. It's not very expensive. Something that is important to understand is that their minimum wage is definitely a lot lower, so if you're coming from American income into Montenegro and you use that income, you're going to be living fine. But if you go from a Montenegrin income into America, you're going to be... you're not going to have a lot of money. It's a good area. I don't think I ever felt unsafe there. Things can seem a little bit run down, but there's also some really, really nice parts of Montenegro. It just depends on where you are, what city you're in, but I'd say that if you're coming from an American budget into Montenegro, you'll have, you know, enough money to live for a while.
