If you are biking, it's helpful not to ride too close to the edge of the road because there's a lot of like rubble from the road that ends up there and so you end up popping a lot more tires when you ride close to the edge. Also, cars will try to pass you when they shouldn't if you're too close to the edge.

In Malaysia, it can get a little scary. I don't know if that's the right word, but maybe you would feel a little unsafe at times. Personally, I did get my wallet stolen. It got pickpocketed out of me on the train. And so some advice I'd say is to always make sure you keep your bag close to you and in front of you, especially when you're on the trains. I would also say to make sure at night to not walk on dark roads. I found sometimes getting in situations that I probably shouldn't have by just being in dark areas at night, and I know that was bad on my part. So those are two tips I'd say is just to stay in lit areas, especially at night, and to always keep your bag close and in front of you on the trains, especially when it's crowded, because it can be easy for them just to reach in and grab things out of it.
