Malagasy's at times are very very respectful and there's certain little things you need to do like when you shake hands you you grab your wrist and you shake like that but when it turns into getting a bus or buying something at a little store it kind of turns into a free-for-all so you need to be aggressive if you want to get on a bus and you need to be assertive if you want to buy something at a store because they cut in front of you as many times as they feel like they need to you got to get up in there and just give the person your money and tell them what you want so good luck with that

When it comes to safety, Madagascar is generally really safe, considering there's no guns and very relatively low crime rate. It's just taking different roads every night and making sure you aren't giving personal information to people that you don't trust. Just locking your doors at night. Another thing to watch out for is just be kind in all you do and work with police if they ever, you know, harangue.

I mean you're generally safe. The only thing you really have to worry about is kind of pickpocketers because they'll try to get you every now and then but as far as putting yourself in a dangerous situation that's not usually going to happen with malagasy's because I mean the average American is bigger than a malagasy and they don't really want to fight anyone so there's that and as far as like animals go there's not really any dangerous animals except for like crocodiles but you're not really going to see those in the wild but all the other bugs and spiders and things like that aren't aren't really dangerous and kind of do their own thing.
