So my husband has lupus and I think one of the hardest things about lupus is that it's an invisible disease. So he might feel great one day and another day he is bedridden and I think it's really important to remember that if you have a loved one that has lupus or a friend, make sure that you have patience and understanding for them that it could look different every day of the week. And whenever they need their rest, they need their rest or whenever they, you know, feel like going and doing things, encourage them to spend the time doing the things that they love while they feel like doing it. But I do think that that's one of the hardest aspects is that it is invisible and people think that you're faking it when you don't feel well, when in reality, you're just having a bad day. Lupus can go in and out of remission at any time. So I do think that is very challenging, especially when you feel judged by other people for how you feel.
