I was diagnosed when I was 14 and it was about a two and a half year treatment. The first month was the most intense and then the following eight months were the most intense and that's when I was immunosuppressant. I couldn't go to school. After nine months, that's when I was fully in remission but I still had to take oral chemotherapy. I still had to take pills but I was able to start like going back to school in person and not really being quarantined at my house anymore which was nice and so I slowly started getting back into normal life as normal as it can be as a bald 15 year old. My family came and supported me. My community supported me. They held fundraisers. My soccer club that I was in at 14 years old supported me in just being there for me and remembering me and so there was a lot of good that came from you know unfortunate circumstances.
