Leukemia is kind of hard to diagnose, or at least it was for me. I was just really tired. I was 14 and so oftentimes when I'd go to doctors and just tell them that I was like really fatigued, they would kind of just blame it on the fact that I was a teenager and I had growing pains and things like that. I felt some like pressures in my chest that ended up being blasts when we found out eventually, but really I was just like exhausted and so finally we decided to get me checked for mono and that's when they took my blood and that's when they were able to find out that I had leukemia.
