Just go and explore the countryside. There's a lot of beautiful countryside and a lot of little tiny shops in your own city that are really fun to go and peek in. I would definitely advise going into the country, going on hikes. There's a lot of old castles that you can find, old ruins. Italy is an extremely old country, so just more than anything appreciating where you're at and finding those little tiny hidden gems is always just such a fun thing to do. Italians also love soccer, so if there's any way to go and watch a soccer game or go to an opera, I would advise doing that as well. It is extremely fun.
