So one time I was in Italy, and we were in this circle right by St. Mark's. And this guy was dressed up as Johnny Depp, and he was really creepy. And he came up behind people and would, like, grab them. And then we ran because we were freaked out.
It's very important in Italy when you're on a bike to be aware of cars around you. There was one time riding to the train station to catch a train to Verona. I was leading on bikes with my companion and this car was kind of creeping out to like turn onto the road and I thought they saw me but apparently they didn't and so I went out in front of her and she totally hit me and I went on the ground. I got pretty scuffed up. It wasn't a big deal, I wasn't that hurt. She was, the lady at first was super defensive about like I didn't see you like what are you doing and I'm like I know it's my fault they called on me like I'm sorry and she was really nice after that and said oh my gosh are you okay? I was fine. Just be aware of bikes and cars.
