Anywhere in Sardegna, there's this thing called casu marzu or something like that, I probably said that wrong, but it is essentially, well, it's worm cheese and it sounds disgusting and it is disgusting but it's not that, I don't know, if you go there you have to try it.

You're gonna eat some of the best food in the world. Also some stuff that's a little bit weird. I know in Sardinia that they have a special cheese made out of maggots, so avoid that. My husband, he tried the maggot cheese. And then depending on where you're at, there's always going to be some specialties. So I was in Sicily for a long time, so there's a little bit more seafood. They have like a salad that they use octopus in that was very interesting, and a lot of swordfish. But very good. Food is amazing. You're gonna love it.

There are a lot of immigrants in Italy which I hadn't realized going into it and so we had a lot of like Peruvian food or African food or Middle Eastern food even and none of it was necessarily bad it was just an adjustment or things that I wasn't used to. I also don't do great with fish so I was on the coast for a while and that was really hard because they'll put it in pasta and everything so I had someone boil a squid for me and that was the only thing I've ever thrown up while I was there so that wasn't great. I also had someone feed me cat like it was ravioli with cat in it but I don't think that's a normal thing I think they were just kind of off but in general the food's really great there's just a lot of it like a lot.
