One of the hardest things about homeschooling, I think, is all the energy that you have to put into it. It takes so much effort to keep on top of everything, to balance everything. Even just being with your children 24-7, if you don't get a break, that's pretty tough. And if you focus so much on the academics and everything with homeschooling, it can take a toll and affect the relationships between you and your children, you and your spouse. Sometimes just trying to manage everything. And so that's probably one of the hardest things. So remember that relationships are more important than academics, and you just have to realize it does get a little easier, but it is hard. It takes so much commitment.
