My favorite aspects of homeschooling are the bonds that you create with your children. You just get to spend some great quality time with them, finding out what they're interested in, exploring their interests, and building off of their love of learning. You don't have to be beholden to a certain curriculum and have to do certain things by certain due dates. You really have flexibility to let them lead in their education and choose what they learn and how they learn. You can make it so much more hands-on and so much more fun and engaging. I love the flexibility. You don't have to do math first thing in the morning. You can do it in the afternoon or late at night. So I love the flexibility. I love that they can take a greater role in planning their education and you can really be driven by their interests and what they want to pursue.

So I have a lot of aspects of homeschooling that I really like. I love being able to choose what my kids learn and how much time we spend on any individual subject and how fast we can go. But honestly, my favorite aspect of homeschooling is the cuddling. We sit on the couch and my daughter will sit in my lap and cuddle with me for most of the day as we do our learning. You know, we get up, we get dinner, we take breaks, we do other things, but the amount of cuddling that I since we started homeschooling has just increased so much that I can't imagine why any parent doesn't want to do this.
