historical figure that I think is often misunderstood as President Andrew Jackson. A lot of people consider him this great villain of American history. But the interesting thing is he was actually very beloved by a large majority of the country in his time, but also hated by significant others. And you often hear that history is written by the victors, right? And a lot of the accounts and the opinions that we hold about him today were championed and forwarded by his opponents back then. Another thing that I think is really interesting about him is once you study kind of where he came from, his history, his lived experiences, a lot of his policy decisions and actions become a bit more nuanced and there's a lot more to study about him.
