I think Barack Obama's election in 2008 was pretty historic, pretty exciting that he was the first African-American to be president of the United States. I just think that was a really cool like turning point for our country and just really inspiring and I think it brought Americans together.

I think one of the most historic elections was the one of 1860. Not only was it the first Republican elected president, but it was Abraham Lincoln. And with him brought, sadly, a great civil war, but also the emancipation of slavery and the reunification of the states.

There's a lot of historic elections, especially in the United States, but I think one that kind of gets overlooked is actually the election of John Adams. You know, George Washington, a lot of people wanted him to almost act as a king, never give up power. But, you know, when he did and John Adams was democratically elected, that illustrated to the world that this democracy would stand, that we would elect our leaders and we wouldn't elect kings.
