I lived in Guatemala for about three months when I was 15 years old and we lived by the lake Atitlan and so I would say things to do. There's a volcano called Pacaya that you can hike. There are near Lake Atitlan, there's like markets. The lake's down here then there's mountains up here surrounding it. Solola is a town on the mountain and so you can go to the markets and you take little chicken buses up there if you want to stay on the lake. There's ferries across the lake to San Miguel and all the other like towns across there. They have chocolate making, they have like yarn weaving, they have clay making, they have like all these different things there to do. You can fish, swim, go on the beach. There's just so many like things to do in that area.
