I feel like Ghanaians are just the nicest people and compared to a lot of other countries in Africa like they're not really out there trying to hurt you. There are thieves definitely so that's one thing to watch out for. I had stuff stolen. I had my bike stolen. People will reach in through your window like you have bars on your windows but they'll reach in with sticks or with their hands and just try and grab stuff off your desk or whatever. So definitely keep stuff away from the windows. That would be one piece of advice for safety but I think that overall Ghana is a pretty safe place.
