Why bad things happen to good people - French Video Transcripts

I think that bad things can happen to everyone, whether you are good or bad. In life, there are things that happen to us because of nature. There are things that happen to us because of other people's decisions, or because of our own decisions that have consequences. And I think that no matter what happens to us, we can learn a lesson. And the fact that something bad happens to a good person does not mean that she is punished, but rather that she is modeled for something greater. And in my opinion, I think that sometimes there are things that happen to us to get closer to our Lord Jesus Christ, to teach us to lean more on Jesus Christ, on God, and to trust Him.

This question is really a difficult question, but I think that we are experiencing difficult moments, not because God wants to punish us, but He wants us to get closer to Him. And it is through prayer that we can do that. We can both have difficult moments and also strengthen our testimonies and become closer to God. And I know that for me, through my trials, the most recent being my divorce trial, it was very difficult. But I know that at every moment, God was there for me, and this trial was not to punish me, but to strengthen me.

Why are there trials and difficult things that happen in the life of a good person? That's the question. I would say that this life is an opportunity that we have to learn, to try, to grow and to meet ourselves. I mean, sometimes we don't know what our limits are and what things we can do more than we think. And I believe that in trials we have the opportunity to grow and to overcome these trials and also to receive help and blessings from others who help us and who want to help us.

I find that it is an abstract subject. Why do bad things happen to just people? We could see that as pessimistic and say that our trials are negative things. But if we see it from another perspective, we can judge that these trials, which we can consider as bad, are more like a test that strengthens us and makes us better at the end of the line. So, basically, bad things happen in our lives, not necessarily because God wants it, not because God wants us to be unhappy, but because he wants us to become better. Then, by giving us trials, difficulties in our lives, that's how we are put to the test and we can have the opportunity to become better. And after these bad experiences have passed, we are stronger and we can face more experiences.
