Prayer has helped me in my life to get closer to my Heavenly Father, to feel his love, to receive answers to questions and concerns that I could have experienced at various moments in my life. And honestly, it's more than just a communication with God or our Heavenly Father, it's also an opportunity to express the desires of our soul, to show our faith and to listen to answers that can touch our hearts, help us make important decisions in our lives.
There was one time that I was with my friends, and we were going out in the mountains. And on the way back, it was getting a little dark, and we rolled the car over a big rock, and the tire burst. So, we were there, at the edge of the street, and there was no one to help us, so we decided to pray. And it was a simple prayer, but it wasn't until three seconds later that three people came to help us. They came and helped us change the tire, and after a few minutes, we were already gone again. And it was really a great testimony for us that God listens to our prayers. Sometimes the answers come immediately, like in this case, but sometimes it takes time, but He always responds.
