So I love meat, and there's a lot of meat in Tahiti, and it's great. I think one of my favorite dishes, honestly, is this thing called the steak frites, which is, you know, just steak and fries, and there's this sauce, sauce roquefort, which is just, you know, roquefort sauce, roquefort cheese, they melt it down with some cream, and they pour it on the steak and fries, and it is amazing. I have gotten close to making it in the States, but there's something that Tahitians do to it that makes it amazing. Poisson cru also is a really, really big favorite of mine. I personally like poisson cru à la grecque, it's a little more spicy, so if you can have that, ask for that, it's interesting, but it's really good. And then anything that was, you know, fresh fish, it's all good, and the fruit is so amazing, it's so fresh, pineapples are ruined for me in the States because they're just so dang good over there. That and mangoes, nothing compares in the States to those fruits, and it's all just so fresh and delicious.

Food wise there's a there's a huge variety Hopefully you don't love Mexican because you're not gonna be getting any Mexican over there But as far as Seychian food goes, I think my favorite was Dessert wise it was this thing called Poi. It's a Seychian dessert. It's kind of like a gelatin jello They use their fresh fruit to make it to die for they put fresh coconut milk My mouth's getting wet just talking about it Another great food was Ipo. Ipo is a Seychian dish as well. They kind of take Wheat and flour to make these little kind of bread like Dough balls and you eat that with coconut milk as well and sugar. It's to die for absolutely awesome Be open to try anything because there's gonna be a lot of new stuff and you're not gonna want to miss out So be open to try whatever they whatever they provide to you

So as weird as it sounds, my favorite food to eat in Tahiti was raw fish. When I first heard that they ate that there, I was really nervous about it and I was like, I can't eat raw fish, but they have two different kinds that they make. One's called poisson cru, which just means raw fish, and they cut it up into little cubes and mix it up with coconut milk and tomatoes and cucumbers and other vegetables and put some lime in there and it's really really good. That was my favorite thing to eat. It's super fresh because they they get the fish out of the ocean that day and then make it into that salad type thing and it's super super good. The other thing that I really liked was sashimi and you just slice, they slice the raw fish up into really tiny slices, really thin slices, and you eat it with this super super good sauce and you eat it over rice. And as gross as I thought it would be, it's so good and that's the thing I miss the most about the food in Tahiti is the raw fish.

Tahiti has such great foods. One of my favorite is definitely the poisson cru, which is the raw fish, raw tuna, with cucumbers and tomatoes with coconut milk, and it is so good. It is something I miss. Another thing I really like is the po'e, which is a fruit mixture, which is this, it's a different texture, but with coconut milk it is so good. And those are definitely my two favorite foods, but all in all, a lot of the food is just great.

So I have a lot of favorite fruits from Tahiti, Poisson Cru being one of them, steak frites, but my all-time favorite dish is something called carpaccio and it's basically thinly sliced raw fish over warm rice and then like drizzled in oil and different spices. I could just eat just pounds of that stuff, it was just so good.
