Baguettes, of course. Their bread's great. Their cheeses are very good. A lot of people will tell you that Roquefort is bad, but just don't believe them. It's really good. If you have it in little quantities, that's the one that has like a lot of mold on it. But it's so good. Just trust me. What other things? Their pastries are amazing. I mean, you got pain au chocolat, you got macaroons, éclairs, like any sort of patisserie pastry dessert that you could want, you'll find there. You'll find some pretty weird ones, but most of them are really, really good. They prepare all sorts of dishes. I mean, their meats are really good. Just explore. Be willing to try new things, and I think you'll discover some new favorites. Absolutely.

My all-time favorite foods were baguettes and also pastries. We can't make baguettes the same way that they do in France and so take the advantage of that. And there's a boulangerie, a bakery on basically every corner and you walk by and you smell it and it smells so good. I also enjoyed eating those traditional dishes that people made and one of the things I really loved was the salads that they would make. They were very simple, just lettuce and tomatoes and they would have this really yummy vinaigrette dressing on it. And I used to not like tomatoes and now I love them because of those salads I ate in France. So nothing too crazy or complicated but the food is amazing. Enjoy it while you can.

Baguettes, baguettes, baguettes. That's all I have to say about France. Baguettes are the best things in the whole entire world. Any, like, I could go on for days. You cannot find bread like that in America. American bread is really not good. So yeah, French bread, French patisseries. Oh my gosh, the patisseries. Like, at least get one a week because it's totally worth it. Don't go to McDonald's. I went to McDonald's all the time, but like, it's a waste of your money. Go buy some patisseries. Try all the cheeses. I wasn't a fan of all of them, but it really does help open your palate. Something that I loved, it's the sparkling water. I fell in love. It's a great palate cleanser. So if you're ever eating something gross, you can always get a sip of sparkling water and it'll, like, clear your mouth out so you don't have to taste the grossness. But in general, French food is the best. Raclette. Eat it every day. Bye.

Basically all I want to eat when I'm in France is crepes. They have these crepe stands everywhere and you can watch them make it and you can have like bananas and nutella on it. They just taste so much better there and honestly I could eat that all three meals every day I'm there. Also if you're going to France you might as well try the snails there. They're really not that bad and they kind of just taste like whatever you put on them so that's a fun experience to have. The pain au chocolat, it's croissants with chocolate on the inside. Those are great. Also maybe try macaroons while you're there. There's a lot of cute shops that sell them.

Favorite food, oh my goodness, the list could go on and on. Even the small things, I never knew how good bread could taste before going to France and it's not even just this super fancy expensive bread but you can go into a little like shop or a little like like chain of grocery stores and buy for 50 centimes a baguette that tastes just more so much better than anything you can buy here. I'd say the bread is incredible, the pastries are incredible, there's so many good cheeses, they might smell bad but they taste really good so you gotta try them, it's just there's a lot of really good food you're lucky out there.

In my opinion, the best kebab in France is in Dunkirk. It's a place called Emmerdog. It's really great. You gotta go try it out.

So I'll be a voice that says I actually prefer croissant over baguettes Those are my favorite, but literally any boulangerie that you go to or bakery you will find so many good things So just try everything that you can even with cheeses as I know they were mentioned They've been mentioned a lot just be have an open mind and try everything you can at least once Just to see if you like it, but it is so good there everything so don't worry

One food that's not necessarily very French but has become a French staple are French tacos, which is like if you crossed a taco, a kebab, a panini, and a burrito all into one. So basically take a burrito, tortilla, and the ingredients of a kebab or what may be more familiar to you as a shawarma or even a gyro and they put it under a panini press and they grill it and there's like fries inside of it and all sorts of different sauces and has become extremely popular.

One of my most favorites was just a fresh baguette sandwich that had turkey on it and lettuce and tomato and a hard-boiled egg and some mayonnaise. And I know it sounds really basic but it was really good just because the bread is good and everything else is yummy. But something else that I also loved is that anything that is mixed together there is called a salad. I remember when I first heard them say to bring a salad I was expecting everyone to bring lettuce with with the dressing as a salad but people came with mixed vegetables and different things and all of it was considered a salad if it was mixed together. And that's another thing that I loved because it was all just fresh and it felt really good going into my body and gave me the energy that I needed to get throughout the day.

There are a lot of pâtisseries and boulangeries that are just the best. Honestly, I prefer a croissant a beurre, butter croissant, it's just great. Also, pain au chocolat, oh la la. Also, millefeuille, feuille, that, it's really good. Baguettes, of course, baguettes every single day. I always like to eat, I used to eat a lot of traditional baguettes because I think they are the best. So, also, black bread, you need to try that. Black bread, just as you hear it. Pâtes noires.

It's something called Raclette, and it's basically you boil potatoes until they're soft. You have this grill where you're grilling these small pieces of meat, kind of like deli type of meat, on top. And then underneath it's actually heating cheese. And so what you do is you cut up the potatoes a little bit, you put the meat on, and then you pour the cheese over because it's melted. And it tastes super, super good.

So France has all kinds of foods and they are known for that. One thing, I really like escargot, the snail, you know, that they, I think they grill it or something like that with, I think, with green butter or something like that. It's really tasty actually. If you, you know, if you can do the texture, that's fine. There's something else that's called bourguignon, burgundy beef, you know, basically like they cook it in, I think, like a pressure cooker or something like that with like, like a stew with lots of vegetables and beef and things like that. Now we go over to pastries and desserts, you know, they have all sorts of stuff, good stuff over there. Like their bread is just, I've never tasted bread that's so crispy and so flavorful before. Their croissant is like nothing you've ever had here in the States.

My all-time favorite were the crepes that I had in a region called Bretagne. If you go there, eat the crepes because they are so good. Savory and sweet. Delicious. Also, don't ever underestimate the deliciousness of a baguette. They're so cheap, but they're so delicious and you can't get bread like that here in the United States. It just doesn't exist. As well as pastries, their patisseries are so delicious. My favorite patisserie is called La Religieuse, the nun, basically. Just try them all and enjoy it while you're over there.
