I lived in France for two years and I guess like before I got there, when I was there, when I was writing people from home and then even after when I was talking about my experience there, I had a lot of people that thought, French people, they don't like Americans, and they don't like talking with them, they're kind of like cold people. I thought that was funny because that it wasn't really my experience, I had a lot of like good conversations, but you know there's a lot of friends I can make in France. But one thing that I learned that I think is really different between French and at least American culture is that in France, if you're like passing people on the street or if you like see them in the metro or wherever, they don't really have the tendency to smile at each other like we do in America, like with complete strangers that you're just like passing on the street. And so I think that might be one thing that contributes to why people think that French people are cold or like aren't don't like Americans, don't like interacting with them, it's just that they don't like smile as much when talking with strangers as Americans do. So that doesn't mean that they don't, you know, like
