Every summer we would road trip from where I was from in Florida up into up to Maryland where my cousins lived and we would stay with them for a few months over the summer. Every road trip there it's like a 13-14 hour road trip. My mom would always make us like the brown paper bag full of like car snacks and I think it's good to hit every like type of snack. She definitely always did that. There was always like a salty one there'd be like salted almonds or something and then there would be like sweet ones that would be like a rice krispie treat and like lollipops or gushers or something and there would also be like pretzels or she'd put fruit or something so that was good.

A really great snack for road trips is Hershey's cookies and cream pretzels. It's the perfect balance of sweet and salty because you know when you're on a road trip you got to have both sweet and salty and in your water. Some people do a soda. I don't normally do that because it makes me feel gross but you're going to feel gross after a few hours on the road so you do you.

I think it's easy on a road trip to overeat, and so I think the best snacks are grapes and veggies like carrot sticks and things, things that you can snack on and crunch, but that don't have a ton of calories and don't make you feel yucky after.

If you have a cooler with you, I think apple slices and grapes and baby carrots are amazing healthy snacks for road trips. I also think on a less healthy line of things, I think slim jims, like little meat sticks, are also really kind of fun and delicious on road trips. Obviously, you know, nuts are a really good option. And one of my favorite snacks is fruit leather. You know, if you go to Aldi or Walmart or wherever and just get a bunch of fruit leather, I mean, that is so delicious. It's like fruit snacks, but better and healthier for you. So I definitely recommend that.

Granola bars, pretzels, chips, and either Gatorade, Prime is pretty good, I prefer Gatorade, but those are my, those are just my go-to road, there's like, nothing particularly recommendable about them, that's just what I like, um, so I would eat those things on the road.

I think the best snacks for road trips are the flat pretzel things that you can get from Costco and a bag of veggie straws. Those are my favorites right now.

I think you need to have a salty and a sweet snack when you're on a road trip. We road tripped down to California five times this year just for different family things and we always brought pretzels, we brought sweet tart ropes, and then we had veggies and fruit and it got us through the entire 12-hour car trip.

I think on road trips it's super easy to like eat unhealthy because you're just like bored in the car. I don't know, vegetables probably would be good. Something we always would get is Kix cereal. There are these little like corn balls. So they're not like that fattening or unhealthy for you. I think just like finding those kinds of low fat snacks.
