I think that it's important to remember to not compare yourself to others while you're trying to achieve your own fitness goals. I've noticed that especially when I go to the gym, I see people looking at how much I'm lifting and I definitely look at how much people, how much other people are lifting. I think, man, they're lifting like twice as much as I am. Like, what's going on? Am I even, you know, it's easy to question yourself, but I think it's just important to remember that you're comparing yourself to your past self and hoping to become better and better. You don't need to worry about what other people are doing. Just focus on yourself and developing and achieving your own goals.

There's a lot of pressure, especially as young adults, to have a fitness routine and to have a good healthy diet and to be able to fit all these things in for our health and our wellness when we are facing a lot of stress and we might not have the best budget to work with. So honestly, just find something that works for you and something that makes you feel good, not because you have pressure to lose weight or you feel like you need to do what your other friend is doing, but just find what works for you, whether that's dancing, going on walks, eating foods that you enjoy, even if they might not be the healthiest, just learn moderation and trust yourself and listen to your body.

One small step that you can take on your fitness journey is to do things under your own power, such as biking to work or walking to work if you're close enough, walking to the bus stop. Another small step you can take is to take the stairs instead of an elevator, if at all possible.

Just some advice I have, I've seen so many people get injured working out and obviously you can stretch beforehand to prevent injury, just make sure to do like a warm-up set like half the way you're gonna, half the way if not like a third of the way you're gonna do, just to warm your body up a little bit so you can kind of know what's coming, you're warming it up so you don't have some bad pull or tear. I've seen so many people get injured just because they stack too much weight on to begin with and they're like oh I stretch but still just you know cut the weight in half and then just do a few reps just to warm up and you'll be fine.

Seems like there's a lot of people who have a very negative attitude towards the idea of counting calories. I mean, I think it's the most accurate way of keeping track of how much you're actually eating during the day. And you need to do that to make sure you're eating enough and also not too much, you know, if your goals are related to gaining or losing weight. I would advise just to be kind of inquisitive if you ever hear somebody disparaging counting calories.
