A really good fitness app that I've been using and loving is FitOn. So F-I-T-O-N. It's totally free. They offer an option to upgrade but I have never felt that I needed to because the free options actually offer you already a lot. Not really like target workouts but also for different kind of, you know, phases in your life. Like if you are pregnant, if you are going on postpartum, if you have limited space in your apartment, in your house and I think even with kids. So it's really amazing they offer all these kind of workouts.

One really good fitness app to use, it's called FitBot. You can find it on the App Store and it is one that you pay for, but your first three tries or first three workouts are free that they customize for you. It's just really customizable to what you want based on your goals and how you like working out. You can adjust your time, which days you work out, and I have to say I don't really pay for a lot of apps, but this app was definitely worth it getting. It was like probably $50 for the whole year. You can look up for a code to get a little cheaper discount code, but I would definitely say FitBot is a really good app to use and one I have not regretted paying for. So I would go to that and just try it out, the free trial, and see how you like it.

So one fitness app that I loved was the Johnson & Johnson 7-minute workout app. They've got lots of great workouts for strength, for stretching, for conditioning, and it's nice and easy, you know, especially when you have a hard time being motivated, you know, it's just gonna be over really quick. So that's a really good one.

Personally, for me, the one that I think I love the most is just the Apple Fitness app. I love the whole ring idea, just seeing all my rings go, you know, the moving ring, the exercise ring, the standing ring, seeing me get all those rings each day, meeting my goal each day, just makes me feel fulfilled. So personally, that's an app that I like. I know with that, you can track like your workout, like on an Apple Watch. With that app, you know, whether you're doing high intense cardio, playing basketball, swimming, your traditional, you know, weightlifting, whatever you're doing, you can track that and it'll track your calories to its best ability. So for me, Apple Fitness, that's the app that I like to use.

In my opinion, the two best apps are MyFitnessPal or Macrofactor. MyFitnessPal you can use for free, it's just a little less user-friendly, but it totally gets the job done. Macrofactor, you have to do a free trial and then go for the subscription, but Macrofactor has AI integrated into it and so if you start to plateau with your weight, you need to cycle your calories a little bit differently or make some sort of changes, the more information that you give the app for how you're eating, what your weigh-ins look like, the better AI responsive results it can give you. So Macrofactor is very intuitive and MyFitnessPal is free and rather easy to use. If you're willing to spend the money, I would do Macrofactor. If you're just looking to dip your toes in the water to see if you like trekking, free version of MyFitnessPal.

Okay, so 10 out of 10 strong recommend MyFitnessPal. I love MyFitnessPal so much. It makes keeping track of your calories like exponentially easier. It gives you a lot more flexibility so you're not just like you know having to follow a strict meal plan. You could just look up the calorie count of something that you're eating and add it in. It's great and it can it can sync up with other apps like a like a SmartScale. Awesome, awesome product. Strongly recommend it.

The 7-minute workout app from Johnson & Johnson is pretty good. It just gives you like some stuff to do and kind of guides you along. The exercises that they give you, you can do pretty much anywhere and it lets you like increase difficulty as you as much like as you want. After you're done with the workout, it asks you about how difficult that was on a scale of 1 to 10 and based on that it calibrates like what workouts are best for you. Overall, it's pretty good.

I use a super cool app called Strong to track all of my sets and reps for every exercise. And it's super cool. It also has like a rest timer so you can see like how long you've been resting. And it's cool because it tracks everything so you can see your progress and see if you're really progressing in your different lifts and be able to identify if you need to change your approach to lifting or also like if you need to be eating more, things like that to be able to help you keep progressing.

I use the Pacer app to train for my half marathon. It's really awesome. I mostly use it just to like see how many miles I go. And I found that it's pretty accurate. And it shows like how many steps I've gone and allows me to like set a goal for how many steps and will send me a fun little notification when I've met my goal for daily steps.

So I've been working out for a really long time, well over 30 years, and the one resource that is probably my favorite, I don't believe it's an app quite yet, it's all just on a website, but fitnessblender.com. It has the best workout videos that I've found, and I looked into a lot of it, and I always come back to Fitness Blender. They have something for everyone. They have yoga, Pilates, strength training, cardio, HIIT, stretching, everything you could want. Great people, laid back, pretty chill, pretty calm. They don't feel too intimidating. They're just normal people who are in good shape and try and encourage you to be the best you can be too. So I really love Fitness Blender.

This isn't necessarily a specific app, but I'm just making a plug for any AI apps out there. If you are someone who is very new to the realm of trying to switch up your diet, switch up your training, if you have questions about supplementation, which everybody probably does if they're considering supplementation, using a general AI free chat GBT version of anything, very helpful. Going in saying, Hey chat, I have 30 minutes per workout, which I want to do three workouts per week. Give me a very basic muscle building or push pull leg split, upper lower split, full body split, whatever it is that meet those requirements. And Hey chat, I am looking to make some diet upgrades. Here's my current height and weight and calculated speculated body fat percentage. I have X goal. Give me some tips and pointers. Give me a plan. Very, very helpful and free.

A really good fitness app that I would recommend, especially to runners, is Strava. I primarily use it just to track my mileage, keep track of my paces, it helps track elevation and speed, and it's good to be able to see all that so you can see where you're making progress and where you can improve.
