Something that has really helped me slowly cut out processed things, I think it can be really overwhelming when you're like, I'm going to start eating healthy. And then it's like, what does that really count as? And I feel like something that's helped me is I just start with getting out that processed food and it will help clean your gut out. It'll help with inflammatory things. It will not make you feel so swollen or bloated or whatever. And I think it's an easier way to start to, you can kind of know what food is processed and what's not.

It's no more necessary to count your calories and macronutrients to achieve body composition goals, so whether that's muscle gain, general weight loss, just fat loss, things like that. It's no more necessary to do that than it is to count your money in and out of the bank to make sure that you are hitting your financial goals. If you're someone who can make simple changes, cut out sugar and things like that and it's not hard for you and you can eat the amount of food that you need to to gain lose weight and it's fine for you, don't you start counting calories and macros, but it's a surefire way to make sure that you can hit your goals if you do.

I think my biggest dieting tip is to find one that's sustainable for you and your lifestyle. The biggest issue people have with dieting is either going too extreme or too lax and not being able to sustain it or actually see the improvements they desire. So finding something that kind of pushes you a little bit but you're still able to sustain it for a long period of time that'll help you maintain it, which is the biggest thing is consistency and maintenance.

I've never done a diet before. I think that life becomes a lot more complicated and stressful when you're just like hyper focused on calorie count or um I don't know just like constantly like nit picky about the food that you eat um but I've seen just a lot of like um power in my life and the lives of those around me when it comes to just like doing things in moderation and um just getting a well like balanced diet making sure that you're hitting the fruits and the veggies as well as the carbs and you're not just eating one thing all the time your body does a lot does well with balance and moderation and I found a lot of success in that.

A good dieting tip is things that have zero calories like water, ice, you know, diet sodas, stuff like that. A quick tip is you can sniff something you really want to eat like a donut or a cheeseburger and then just eat ice instead and it tricks your body into thinking that you have eaten your craving.

I think that when we start to get really meticulous with things, like starting to stand on a scale every day or meticulously track every ounce of food that goes into our body every day, it can start to just feel like we're imprisoning ourselves into this unflexible, horrible, awful way to live. And some people are totally cool with it and some people aren't. If you are not one, the best diet review piece of advice that I could give would be to eat as many one-ingredient foods as possible in place of processed food. So a one-ingredient food is chicken, steak, broccoli, an orange, banana, whole nutrition-dense foods. Fill up on those as much as you possibly can. The 80-20 or 90-10 rule is pretty good too. 80 to 90 percent good all the time and then 10 to 20 percent you're living your life and don't care.
