When I was a freshman in high school, I remember my PE class being like actually pretty tough fitness-wise. And I remember we had the fitness gram. It was like the test that all of the high school PE students had to pass in order to not take PE again. And I remember I didn't pass the push-up test. We had to do like 20 push-ups. I couldn't do it. And I also didn't pass the like flexibility test where you'd have to touch your toes. And I remember like crying and like my mom picked me up from school and she was playing that song that goes like, "'Cause you had a bad day." And yeah, I just thought that was kind of crazy that I didn't pass the fitness gram.

I don't want to scare anyone with this story, but it is a crazy fitness story. So I was living with a roommate, working out with a roommate, um, at a center apartment complex. It was a small little gym. Um, and they had some free weights and stuff. Um, and we were doing bicep curls, switching on and off. And my roommate, I guess, I don't know if his muscle was just too tired that day or what it was, if he'd been working it out too much. Um, but it was doing, it was doing bicep curls and his, his bicep like ripped, it ripped off his bone. Um, and it was, it was a pretty gruesome injury. It took him a long time, um, to recover from that. Um, but luckily he's fine now and, um, just takes it a little easier on arm day.

I had a crazy experience once while working with a personal trainer. I was in high school and I actually was really used to working with trainers in a team atmosphere. I played soccer growing up and my mom actually wanted me to go to this personal trainer that she'd been seeing because she thought that he would be able to help me with some of my speed and endurance and help me to be a better athlete. Anyway, my first time being with him it was different for me because I had never been on a one-on-one atmosphere before and he had me run on the treadmill but instead of turning the treadmill on I was the person powering the treadmill and I got to the point where I was feeling really sick and I was pushing my body too hard and I actually ended up throwing up from it and I'll just say I've never done that again and I still haven't gone back to a personal trainer so I'm hoping that sometime I can get over that fear but it's just kind of a crazy story that happened to me.
