Why do I love Finland? Well, I've spent a lot of time there, so it's kind of ingrained in me. When I was a kid, I lived there for three years when my parents were mission presidents, and then I returned as a missionary. Then I've been back to visit when the temple was dedicated, and to pick my mom up from her mission. And so even though we're not finished by blood, I feel adopted. We've got some traditions. We make pula bread a lot, and I love the beauty of the earth there, the lakes and the trees. I love that nature is such a dominant part of their culture, that they love nature and they embrace it and they treasure it. I love the people, even though sometimes on the surface they're hard to get to know. Deep down, they are salt of the earth and rock solid, wonderful people.
