The biggest holidays in Finland are probably Christmas, New Year's Eve, then we have a day, 1st of May, which we call Vappu, and that is a very important celebration, along with Juhannus, which is the Midsummer party, and that also attracts very many people. Usually people go by their own summer cabins and we have this great big bonfire that we light, and, well, unfortunately many people get drunk. Culture-wise, holidays for Finns mean getting wasted, and that is not a very nice thing, but that's how it often is and you can meet very many drunk people around holidays.
