The symptoms I suffer from is extreme chronic pain everywhere and severe, more chronic than everywhere else, within my breastplate, like round about here in my chest. I get really bad headaches and migraines. I've got very bad digestive issues that can leave me doubled up and in hospital bleeding from my stomach. Just sometimes my body decides I can't tolerate food that they'll let me have for so long. I get really dizzy. I get really, really tired. Sometimes my brain doesn't work very well.

One of my major symptoms is heat regulation. I cannot control my body heat. I get night sweats so bad, it's not funny, and throughout the day I overheat, especially when it's exaggerated with anxiety and stress. I honestly, it's 17 degrees outside right now and snowing. I have my air conditioner on, a fan on, and my window open, and I'm hot in my room. My kids call my room the Arctic, and I think it's warm in here. Heat regulation is a big problem for me. It's a horrible symptom for me.

Symptoms can vary from person to person, from day to day. Oh, they can range from anything really, from headache, jaw ache. One day I had every tooth in my mouth hurting and my jaw hurting and my ear hurting. I had ringing in my ear. I had where I had no feeling in my leg and my feet. I've had swelling in my hands and my feet and them swelling and going stiff. I've had pain shooting up in my legs and down my back and up into my head. You know, it's numerous what it can be. It's going to be a lot of nerve pain because all your nerves are upset with your central nervous system. As I say, it varies from person to person.

I have pretty much all the symptoms of fibromyalgia. The muscle aches and pains and the insomnia are actually the worst for me. You can look it up online or books or whatever and they will give you a list. It's extensive of the symptoms of fibromyalgia. As I said, I'm lucky to have a doctor that nailed it right away.

I don't know if I can even remember all of my symptoms, especially because one of my symptoms is brain fog. Of course, I get pain. I get little nodules under my underside of my arms and the back of my legs that are very painful, trigger points, insomnia, anxiety, fatigue is one of my biggest symptoms, moodiness, irritability, a lot of the things that go along with not getting enough sleep and with having anxiety. I sometimes have depression and a lack of motivation.

In 2015, I developed rheumatoid arthritis in a matter of two weeks. I had gone from swimming 80 lengths in a pool on a Wednesday, not being able to walk down my hallway by a Sunday. And I was seeing the doctor and I went in and she said, how are you feeling? And I said, I'm feeling good today. I said, but yesterday I heard hurt from the top of my head to the tip of my toes. And she just looked at me and she goes, you have fibro also. And that was the pain because it's the shoulders, it's the neck, the hips, the knees that it's, and it hurts. It really just hurts.

One of my major symptoms is migraines, which is why most of my videos are pretty dark. I have a severe sensitivity to light and noise. I'm on a medicine that I take three times a day to ward off migraines. I take Topamax three times a day and that's trying to just keep the migraines at a somewhat lower level. And then even when the migraines come on during the day, I then take Nertec to help like stop them when they actually happen. So they're pretty severe and they're daily and they get even worse when they're aggravated by anxiety and stress.

I have developed a lot of sensory symptoms. Sensitivity to light, smell, noises, and everything. But the biggest one is touch. I can't stand having anything touch me. Having clothes on is painful. I have to have the lightest blanket on me when I sleep. And this even goes as far as like a restless leg syndrome, but it goes through my entire body. I've had to add supplements. My doctor has put me on two different medications to keep me calm. One night, I went as far as I couldn't calm down enough. I looked like a flopping fish. It was bad.

Another symptom is what we call fibrofog. And I actually just had some because I forgot about saying this as a symptom and it just occurred to me that I forgot about it. Fibrofog is either a little bit of a time or a good amount of time that you lose a memory or a thought process and you completely go blank. You forget your train of thought. You just completely go blank and it affects everyday life. You're trying to explain things to people. You're trying to fill out forms. You're trying to do work and you're just in this state of not knowing and it's horrible because it affects everything.

So, the symptoms do vary for fibromyalgia. They can vary from everything, pins and needles on your hands and your feet, which is what I suffer with most of the time right now. And I am about six-ish years into my journey. Often I think when I first began, though, it was often just pain in my ankles and in my knees. It could be in my shoulders and under my shoulder. It could be all over the body. So there are all sorts of symptoms that come along with fibromyalgia, sometimes all over the body. So just know that if you are experiencing such, you should see your doctor as soon as possible.

The original symptoms that led me to the diagnosis of fibromyalgia were pain, swelling, and muscle spasms in my back, my shoulders, and my neck. It would get so bad to be a 9 out of 10 on the pain scale. I always said a 10 was childbirth, which is usually true for most women, but that has never gone away. But pain-wise, that has spread throughout my body, mainly to my joints, where the pain and swelling have increased. I am on Lyrica now, which has helped a little bit, but the only thing that they keep doing is increasing my dosage.
