The reason that dermatologists quit is in part, large part, the expense of trying to run a practice with all the electronic records, the increasing intrusion of government requirements that just don't make any sense, that don't really provide for some better care for the patient, but produce an enormous workload for us. I think any dermatologist would say the same. Also, I think folks are more generally suspicious of anyone in authority, and I have combated patients from time to time on no good reason, just that they just distrust everything. So those are the two main issues that would cause someone to quit, certainly me.
