I think one common misconception about dermatology is that it's all cosmetic or all Botox and filler, and while that certainly is a part of dermatology that some people specialize in, you know, a lot of the skin diseases and skin cancers that we see on a daily basis are far from just cosmetic, and many of them can have a large impact on people's overall psychological well-being, especially some of these chronic skin diseases, and so that's something that people, they think dermatology, they think, oh, it's just all Botox and filler and cosmetics, but there's really a huge portion of patients that have an unmet need to see someone that specializes in treating complex skin diseases that have a major impact on overall life.
