Something interesting about Denmark is that you can actually get to Sweden by a bridge that they built. And it's super cool because you just drive over the water and then you're in a new country. But you have to make sure that you have your passport with you because you're obviously leaving Denmark and going to Sweden.

All throughout the country, especially in Juhland, the part that's connected to mainland Germany, there's tunnels and fortifications that were built prior to World War II, after World War I, to try and prevent invasion and protect against invasion from Germany. And they're still there today, and in many places you can go and you'll be biking along, you'll be biking along these huge areas that are now covered in grass and trees and very wooded. You'll see little gates occasionally, and so that's an interesting fact.

The Cathedral in Ribe is really old. It started in about the 10th century, and it's still there. It was built over time. If you go to it, if you have the opportunity, it's very beautiful. The Cathedral in Roskilde is where the royalty is buried. From a long time ago, you can see hundreds and hundreds of years of history just visiting that beautiful cathedral. The Danes are Viking descendant people. That is beautiful. Copenhagen wasn't even a city when was first built. There are ships in almost every Danish church hanging there. It's interesting because there were ship captains that sponsored different Danish churches in the Middle Ages, and so there are little ships hanging in there. You can find those, and the Danes are just, they love their castles, and they don't treat their copper so it turns green. Beautiful castles.

Everyone knows the Walt Disney story of the Little Mermaid. That actually comes from a Danish author called Hosie Andersson. In Denmark, there is actually a Little Mermaid statue, probably two feet tall, but it stands as a symbol for Hosie Andersson, who was one of the greatest authors of all time. Another inspired person is George Lucas. Denmark has these docks, giant ports for cargo ships to come in. And in Star Wars number three, when Anakin and Obi-Wan are fighting and they're jumping from lava thing to lava thing, the shield protectors, those are actually inspired by these dock ports in Denmark. When you see them, you will instantly think of Star Wars.
