Probably my least favorite aspect about composing is mastering. Now, I used to do everything. I was a one-man band, one-man show. I tried to do everything on my own. Don't do that. You need to have a team. You need to have others who have more strengths in various areas that you don't have to help you, so you can create the best composition possible. You can compose the music, but I would try to do everything from composing to orchestrating to mixing to mastering, and I still like to do the composing and orchestrating and write out all the parts. I still like to mix everything, but the mastering, by the time I get to that phase and that stage, I prefer to actually send out my fully mixed pieces to someone else and have them master the final project, because I need fresh ears, and it helps. So hopefully, that helps you.
