Here's my advice for getting started. Just start. It doesn't matter where you are. You probably won't like your first composition you come out with. You probably won't like your first composition that you release. A few months or years after you've released it, you'll listen to it and think, oh, I wish I would have done this, or I wish I would have done that. But you need to start somewhere. Just get going. Start creating, come up with ideas, play around, share them with family and friends, get some initial feedback from others. But don't be afraid to fail. Failure is a friend if we allow it to teach us and strengthen us and help us. So don't be afraid to fail. That is one of the biggest tips I like to give anyone. Just start. Start where you are, and then you'll get going and things will improve as you go along.
