Hi, I'm Dr. Jarvie. I am a chiropractor in Southern Oregon and I got my job basically because my father was a chiropractor but never really wanted to be part of his thing. Chiropractic was his thing not mine, but my first child was born with a congenital torticollis, a wry neck, and we took her to the pediatrician. They suggested doing surgery and or we said how about a chiropractor and they said it'd be worth a try. So we tried three months of care to straighten out her neck with adjustments. I know it was strange to adjust an infant but her neck straightened out. It's never been crooked since and that was the first time I gave a little bit of credence to my father's profession and decided maybe there is something to this. Since then my relative had the surgery for his daughter and she lost the use of her right arm. So that was my motivation.
