So I had a patient that was experiencing dizziness upon exam. I found that one of her ears was impacted with earwax which was putting pressure on her eardrum being the cause of her dizziness. So I was attempting to remove the earwax and if you're not familiar with ears they are very sensitive on the inside and so can be very painful. So I let her know, hey just make sure you let me know when you need to call it quits if I'm causing too much pain and take a break. And she did at one point she's like okay I need to take a break. And so I turned to set a tool down and the second that I turned all of a sudden I heard a thud. I turned back around and she had totally passed out and fell off my adjusting table right onto the floor. I felt terrible, went and helped her out, everything was okay, she was fine. Just the pain caused her to end up passing out.
