Interesting fact about northern Chile, it is the driest desert on earth. So even though it's not like sand dunes, it's still the driest desert on earth and it rains very very lightly and not often at all. And then there's a miracle that happens in the springtime in about September because it's on the other side of the hemisphere, other side of the world. And so in the springtime just out of the dirt, out of the nothingness in the desert, all these wildflowers just pop up and it's just gorgeous and it's just kind of a phenomenon that just happens.

There are a ton of immigrants, a lot from Venezuela, Colombia, and Peru. And so, you'll meet a lot of people that are poorer, that are from those countries, but something that's somewhat new to Chile, starting in about 2016, is there's been a great influx of Haitians, people from Haiti, that go to Chile. And it's kind of random, but you see them everywhere, and they speak Haitian Creole.

Just something interesting about Chile, like a lot of people think of it as just like Mexico, you know, but it's like, it's a complete other place. It's really modern. They have Wi-Fi and things like that. It's really cool. I really enjoyed, because there's like the cities and then there's like the outskirts, like the little towns outside that are like farm towns and stuff like that, where the people are like less educated and things like that. So it's kind of cool to like that other cultural experience. Chile has a lot of variety. So if you're in the north, it's going to be desert. If you're in the south, it's going to rain the whole time. It's just such a long country that it's cool like that.
