Tips to success lead by example. Be clean, be organized, clean as you go. Continuously keeping your enthusiasm going, you know, learning new dishes. You don't have to make the most fancy. It starts from the basics. Searing, grilling, steaming, getting that down, timing of everything. You know, if you get into pastries, you know, it's all about measuring and timing. Be a great worker. You know, when you get into food industry, gossiping, stay away from that. Be positive. Learn from others. Don't, you know, be too proud to pick up a broom and a mop and get in there and get the job done if you don't have a dishwasher or a cook that can do it. Lead by example. You will learn from you and your cooks when you start to climb up. Don't be passive on anything that you can gain and learn a lot of different international cuisines.
