I think I've had like one or two cavities, and they were like more when I was a kid, like not super responsible with like things like that. So regularly brushing your teeth, like timing of like sugar right before you go to bed and things like that, just like the basic answers kind of made the difference for me, and I haven't had to deal with it in a lot of years.

So I work as a dental assistant and I've been working in the dental office for a while now. If you have a cavity or your tooth hurts, you feel pain or sensitivity, just go to your dentist or see them when you get your six-month cleaning and let them know. When a cavity, if you don't treat a cavity, like right when you start to feel it, it'll start to decay your tooth and it'll get into the nerve and the pulp chamber is what it's called. That's where the nerve and blood supply is of your tooth and that's when it'll cause even more pain because it's right next to your nerves and you'll feel it. Then you'll have to get a root canal just to save you money and to save you from maybe possibly losing your teeth. Just go to the dentist and tell them how your like your tooth hurts or whatever. If you think you have a cavity, get it filled so there won't be any problems in the future.
