There are many causes to cavities. I think one of the main big causes is genes, family genes. The other things could be like eating too much candy and like drinking too much soda and not using dental floss after you eat food and forgetting to brush your teeth every day before you go to sleep.

So I brush my teeth every day, and I do my best to keep my teeth clean, but I tend to be a really hard brusher. I brush kind of aggressively, and I think that can be a cause of cavities at times because it wears down your teeth, and I've gotten like one cavity, but I believe it was because I just am really rough on my teeth when it comes to brushing.

Some causes of cavities would be too much candy, too much sugar, not brushing your teeth. Usually you should brush your teeth twice a day if you want to avoid that. I'm just walking around my hallway right now. Yep, that's all I got.

So maybe a lesser known cause of cavities or at least something that can worsen cavities sometimes can actually be grinding your teeth. So this happened to me where I was grinding my teeth and I created a little bit of a crack in one of my teeth and then actually got infected through there in a way that I couldn't really get it with a toothbrush or floss and so that is one maybe slightly lesser known cause of cavities.

Even if you brush your teeth every night and every morning, at least twice a day, if you don't get a regular routine cleaning from your dentist, you can still get an incredible amount of cavities after a certain amount of time, so definitely go to the dentist every few months, guys.
