You know Google? Throw that credit out the window. The people you really want to talk to are the nurses that are helping you out. They have treated so many people, and they can help you so much. Your doctors are there to help you too, and they can prescribe medications, but the nurses have been there. They're always there. They know the really good tricks and the inside little loops. They can sneak in food once in a while, if you're lucky. But those are the people that you really need to talk to if you want a good resource. All those nurses that work in the oncology units at your hospital. There are very limited resources for people that are supporting loved ones that have cancer. And in reality, the best way to do that is to connect with other people that are helping this person, or other people that are open enough to talk with you about their trials with their own loved ones. For example, I met quite a few of my friends through this, and a lot of my parents met some good people who had kids that were sick as well with cancer. Really, you build your own support group. You support and uplift one another.
