The worst thing about cancer is losing your nose hair. You go into the hospital, you get chemo, you lose all your hair, including your nose hair, and then it just comes out like a waterfall and you can't stop it. Do you know how embarrassing that is? So glad I have nose hair again. But trust me, ask any cancer patient that's lost their nose hair, it's a big deal. It's a big deal.

Going through cancer, I think it's very important to have a good support team and keep positive. I think just having a positive outlook, even going through such a horrible situation, it definitely helps you move forward. You're going to have tough days, but try and take your naps when you can, or if there's something new that you want to learn as you're going through chemotherapy, maybe take that time to learn those new things or do new things. Anything that can kind of keep your mind away from the big tragedy that you're experiencing, but the main thing, keep focused on positive things and reach out to those. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
