On July 26, 2021, I had the S2 surgery. Part of the S2 in the lower back was taken out, and then two days later, a 12-hour surgery, which took out part of the colon and all the surrounding organs and tissues and stuff that was affected by that. I was told I was stage 4 cancer and non-curable, but I was referred to the Mayo Clinic, and I was actually the second patient that had the S2 surgery done there. Because of the surgeries, I am in remission, but because of the S2 surgery, it has left me incontinent. But I guess you just always look at the positive thing. I'm alive, and I'm thriving, and I'm only going to get stronger.
