Places to eat - Canada Video Transcripts

If you were to go to Canada, specifically to Alberta, I would get a doner wrap and I would get doner poutine. Obviously, if you're in Canada, you know what poutine is, but if you add doner, which is a really, just simply a really good kind of meat, if you will, it makes it so much better. So get yourself some doner. And a doner wrap, it's like a, it's like a burrito version, but just has the doner, which is meat inside of it. That was not a great explanation, but I would just get a doner wrap and doner poutine if you visit Alberta, Canada.

The best wings in the world are not in America, or not in the U.S., they are in Canada. Two places, both in the province of Saskatchewan. If you are in Saskatoon, there is a place called Wing World that will make the best buffalo wings that you have ever eaten in your entire life. And then, if you find yourself, and lucky you if you do, if you find yourself in the small town of Moose Jaw, which is southwest of Regina, if you find yourself in that town, there is a restaurant, hole-in-the-wall place, called Deja Vu. Not only do they have the best poutine that you can eat, which is fries covered with cheese curds and gravy, but they have the finest wings when it comes to varieties of flavors. I mean, anything out of the sun you can think of, they've got it, and it's incredible. So those two places, Wing World, Deja Vu.

So one of the best restaurants you can go to in Winnipeg, in my opinion, is called George's Burgers and Fries. It's over by the St. Vittel Mall, just off of St. Mary's Road. You get these big old burgers, tons and tons of fries, and it's very reasonably priced. Oh man, you can't go wrong. It's so good.

My favorite food, maple syrup for days. It's Canada, great maple syrup. They put it on everything. If you ever, I think, have the opportunity to go to a Cabernet Sucre, it's just the buffet of everything with maple syrup, so you'll enjoy it. If you're on that budget and you just want some good quality food, the best bang for your buck, just go to a local small little pop-in shop for poutine. You don't have to go anywhere big or expensive. Amir, it's a Mediterranean food, delicious. Pizza Pizza, it's pretty good. A lot of people think it's Little Caesars, but no, it's a place called Pizza Pizza. On Montreal, you'll always be able to find a little shop, a little thing that sells excellent food. If you're out outside of the island, you also have some great variety. A lot of chicken, a lot of coleslaw, and french fries, so yeah, definitely good. And also chocolate, delicious.
