One day I was just walking up the steps from the second floor to like the main floor, the third floor, whatever you want to call it, um kind of like where like the glass atrium is and I always just go like every other step just because I'm usually in a hurry to get somewhere and like the last step I ended up missing my step and just completely biffed it in front of all of these people and it was just really awkward. I feel like if I was in that position or like witnessed that happening I would be like oh my gosh are you okay but nobody did that everyone just like ignored that it happened and so that just felt even more awkward to me. I was like okay awesome like I'm okay guys so anyways that was just really funny and awkward for me.

I still to this day do not know if this was real or staged, but to my knowledge, I think it is real. I was sitting there studying, I think I was on the second floor, everyone was pretty quiet, and I was sitting at a desk just doing my stuff, and behind me, in like kind of the middle area, there was a man who got down on his knee and proposed to the girl that he was with. And everyone was just watching, we were all like... And it was the most classic BYU thing I think I've ever seen. Again, maybe it was staged, didn't really feel staged, I don't know. Either way, super interesting.

I don't know if this is, like, a really funny story, but one time I was in the library in the quiet zone in, um, an area that's kind of, like, away, far away from anyone, and no one can see you, and I had my AirPods in, and I had just fallen asleep, and I woke up, like, a couple minutes later, and I did forgot I was in the library and in the quiet zone, and I, like, screamed because I had music passing my ear so loud, and my friends looked at me and, like, actually were, like, mortified that they knew me because I was so loud, and then people, like, poked their heads out and looked at me. It was super embarrassing.

I don't know if they still do this, but while I was there, at the end of the night, the library would start playing music really loudly to wake anybody up who had fallen asleep and let them know that it's time to leave. Definitely happened to me a few times, but the first time it happened, I woke up and it was playing some, like, remixed version of Jungle Book music, and I definitely thought it was part of my dream.

So during finals, the library is open until like two in the morning for like all finals week. So when I was freshman, me and all my friends went and played sardines in the library, which is where one person hides and then once you find them, you like split up and once you find them, you hide with them. And then the last person who hides or who finds them loses. It was so fun. Like we had like limits, like it was only like the bottom three floors or something like that. That was so fun, like looking all around the library for friends and stuff at like two in the morning. We were so crazy, but yeah, definitely you should try it sometime.

My favorite library story is when I was studying with my roommate and a guy came up to her and asked for our names and then called her my name and then asked for her number and she was taking a test when he was asking so it was really awkward.
