I recommend taking Foundations of the Restoration, Section C, so Religion C, with Scott Esplin. It's an online class, you go like once a week in person, and it's probably like one of my most favorite classes because Professor Esplin is just so like down to earth and he genuinely loves what he's teaching and he believes in what he's teaching and has like a thirst for more knowledge and so it just makes the class so much more enjoyable and the spirit is always there because whenever you're learning something about Christ or the church, the spirit is present and so it's there every single time and so I highly recommend that class because it's easy as well like he just wants you to understand Christ and to understand like what's going on in the Doctrine and Covenants and so like Word Quote is easy as well.

My favorite religion class at BYU has been Eternal Families, or the Eternal Family, I can't remember what it's called, but it is just wonderful, and my professor was wonderful, and I just feel like I learned things, especially about the family proclamation to the world, that I didn't understand before, and now being married, I still think about and apply some of the things that I learned in that class, even though I took it years ago, and it was a super meaningful experience to me, so I loved that class.

Jared Howerson's Christ in the Everlasting Gospel is the best religion class, any class that he teaches. It's amazing. You don't really have to do many tests or busy work. You'll just get cut right to the doctor and it's awesome.

One of my favorite religion classes has been Eternal Families. It definitely did seem like it was a class that was going to be geared towards marriage, but there are so many other gospel topics and other related topics discussed throughout the whole semester, and the class is kind of built off of going through the plan of salvation and how you can prepare yourself to make and keep sacred covenants in the temple. There are other topics such as dating advice and marriage advice and also topics on the LGBTQ and mental health and just things like that that I definitely think is a benefit for everyone.

Okay, one of my favorite religion classes I've taken at BYU is the first half of the Book of Mormon with Brother John Hilton. His lectures are great because I learned a lot and I also felt the spirit every time, so I highly recommend taking a class from him. He teaches first half and second half of the Book of Mormon, and his tests are perfect. I feel like it's exactly how a religion class should be. It's a great amount of learning, not too hard, but still feel the spirit a lot, so I recommend it.

I really liked taking Casey Griffith's Foundations of the Restoration class. Mostly, at the time, it was my last semester before graduating and I just wanted an easy course and I needed to take it, so I took it from him and the assignments were good, perfectly reasonable, and actually had a fun time with his humor in the class.

Last semester I took Book of Mormon, part one, with David Ridge, and I would definitely recommend that class. I mean, it was only my first religion class here, but I learned so much, and my testimony of the Book of Mormon grew so much, and I finally understood things that I didn't really think, I didn't really even think about before, and it just focuses in on that one book of scripture, or the first half of the Book of Mormon at least, for a semester, and you are learning about it while growing your testimony, but also learning about it in an educational fashion, I guess, like a school course environment, and so I just learned so much, and I felt my testimony grow, and I felt my knowledge of it grow, and so I would definitely recommend, I know that all freshmen take Book of Mormon, but definitely take that one.

The Eternal Family class that Michael Goodman specifically taught at BYU was one of my all-time favorite classes at BYU, not just a religion class.

I watched a few videos before I made mine and I second everything that everyone has said. Eternal Families changed my life. I think I love that it is a required course for everyone that attends BYU because I think it just has so much insight. I think my professor was just lovely and she spoke with just so much sincerity and she helped me understand God's goals for me and I took it after my mission and while I was taking Eternal Families, I actually met my eternal companion and honestly, I know it sounds cliche, but that class helped me navigate dating and understanding different ways of communication and just how to navigate relationships and just that it's so important to God and that just really helped me. So, best religion class out there and second to it, I believe, is Book of Mormon classes as well as Restoration, but that's obvious.

My favorite religion class so far was definitely Book of Mormon. It was so good and my professor was so awesome and very engaging and it was a class that like I looked forward to going to all the time.

My favorite religion class has definitely been the Book of Mormon taught by Professor Sharp. His class is very spiritual and he definitely gives a lot of life lessons in those classes and I think his testimony is very strong and I think through attending his class last semester it has helped my testimony grow a lot and I think other people would definitely really enjoy his class as well.

I would also recommend Christ and His Everlasting Gospel taught by Laurie Denning. I am in that class right now and I love it. She says herself that she's a Bible nerd, and it's totally true, but it's what makes classes so interesting because she's so knowledgeable about the gospels, which are the books of the Bible that we study in that class, and she just knows her stuff. But she also has a super strong testimony, which I really like, and so she's able to kind of combine the history with the spiritual and just have an amazing class every time. So I would definitely recommend that one.

Christ in the Everlasting Gospel is great. Any of the Book of Mormon classes are really good, and some good professors for that. Professor Sharp for Book of Mormon is very knowledgeable and shares real life stories, which is cool. And then Hank Smith is a great Christ in the Everlasting Gospel professor.

One of my favorite religion classes was the living prophets class taught by Mark Ogletree. I took it last semester and it increased my testimony so much of our living prophets and apostles. You take time to go through each of their lives and teachings and that just helps you get to know them like on a more personal level even though you may have never like met them. And so when general conference comes around I feel like more of a desire to listen to them because I know who they are, like I know their background, I know why they do the things they do or why they speak about the topics that they do and it's just super helpful. Plus just to add Professor Ogletree is amazing and he's super funny so he makes class super entertaining.

My favorite religion class that I've ever taken at BYU was American Christianity with Dr. Cope, and I think it's Religion C353, I think is the name of the course, but I just loved it so much. I feel like it was so good for my testimony, just being able to study conversion stories of people from different religions and all throughout American history. It's a good amount of work, but I feel like it's useful, and I feel like I really grew a lot, so I would 10 out of 10 recommend taking this class.

I took Eternal Families from Sister Clark and I thought that she taught the class very well. She isn't afraid to be vulnerable and share, you know, about her life and about her experiences with the principles that the class encourages her to teach. And so I just thought that was really cool and it added a really cool element to the class every day. She also was super caring and she got to know my name, which I thought was really awesome. Just a very personable professor and a great class.

My favorite religion class was Book of Mormon and it was from Professor Barron. I'm not sure if he teaches anymore but his class he was so focused on making sure we loved what we were learning and that we will take those concepts and apply them outside of the classroom and that's what I think is really pivotal in religion classes.

Jared Halverson's Christ is Everlasting Gospel is the best religion class I've ever taken. 100% recommend, you'll feel the spirit every single time and you always leave inspired to do good and be good.

By far my favorite religion class is Jesus Christ and His Everlasting Gospel. I just love how obviously it's all centered on Christ. I think all the religion classes that I've taken have been really amazing, but I think when there's just something solely focused on Jesus Christ and His immortal ministry and what He kind of did and how it's affected us and affected people before us and how it will continue to to bless us is just a really cool thing to talk about for months. It's awesome.

My favorite religion class so far has been Eternal Families. I just love all the doctrine that you get to learn in there. I'm taking it from Brian Mead right now, and he's so good. He's so pure. He's so wholesome. I love him.
